Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless beef round steak
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can of stewed tomatoes, un-drained
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 of each chopped: green, yellow, and orange pepper
Instructions:
- Trim any visible fat from the meat. Cut it into four pieces and season with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, brown the meat on both sides in hot oil. Transfer the browned meat to a slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the stewed tomatoes (with their juice), tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this mixture over the meat in the slow cooker.
- Top the meat and tomato mixture with the chopped green, yellow, and orange peppers.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours.
