Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Mexican Blend Shredded Cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded Chicken
  • 1 tbsp Taco Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Jalapeno deseeded and finely chopped
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp Green Onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Form the cheese into 6 evenly sized circles on the baking sheet.

  3. Bake for 8 minutes, or until the edges are starting to brown.

  4. While the cheese is baking, heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat.

  5. Stir in the chicken, taco seasoning, and garlic. Saute until heated through and well combined.

  6. Add the meat to a mixing bowl along with the cream cheese and jalapenos. Stir to combine.

  7. Remove the cheese from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

  8. Quickly work to put a line of filling down the center of each cheese circle.

  9. Carefully roll the cheese up around the filling.

  10. Allow the cheese to harden and crisp up before serving.
