INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lbs boneless/skinless chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Zest of 1 lime

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380 degrees.
  • Toss the chicken pieces in the oil and set aside.
  • Stir together the cumin, garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and lime zest in a medium bowl. Toss the oiled chicken in the seasoning mixture until well coated.
  • Once preheated, spray your air fryer basket with cooking spray and carefully add the chicken pieces in a single layer. Air fry for 10-12 minutes (or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees), flipping halfway through.  Serve!

NOTES

  • This is the perfect taco night chicken! It would also be great in taco soup, enchiladas, wraps, salads, etc.
  • Each serving is 1/4th of recipe with just 1.2 net carbs.
