2 pieces of whole wheat naan bread (you can use store-bought or homemade)
1/2 cup of pizza sauce (look for a low-sugar option)
1 cup of chopped vegetables (such as bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach, etc.)
1/2 cup of shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
Optional: toppings like grilled chicken, turkey pepperoni, or any other lean protein
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the naan bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spread 1/4 cup of pizza sauce on each piece of naan bread, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over each naan bread.
Add your chopped vegetables and any optional toppings evenly over the cheese.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of the vegetables.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the naan bread are crispy.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute before slicing.
Slice the naan bread pizza into wedges and serve hot.
